Did Jesus ever have a perm?

Jesus was a bald hunchbacked dwarf. For instance this is from some of Irving Wallace's writings collected in a book "Irving Wallace: A Writer's Profile"



And if you read Testimonium Slavonium you get the description of Jesus that follows:

"a man of simple appearance, mature age, small stature, three cubits high [4 ft 6 in; 137 cm], hunchbacked, with a long face, long nose, and meeting eyebrows, so that they who see him might be affrighted, with scanty hair (but) with a parting in the middle of his head, after the manner of the Nazirites, and with an undeveloped beard."

How can anyone trust these writers as being credible historical sources?  Would any true historian of antiquity make such unsubstantiated claims?  It would be great to see a classical scholar comment on this!
