Frequently those people that are the most against guns are those who can' t legally own them.

And even more often - in the cases of blowhards who pronounce blades or martial arts as superior for self defense.

You can always spot the type.

I can legally own guns.  I opt not to do so. And some of the most pro-gun people in the world are people who can't legally own guns.  They're called 'convicted felons'.  Those guys just LOVE guns.

I agree with the second bit, though - it takes a profoundly stupid man to bring a knife to a gun fight.

I'm not a martial artist (the wife is, and she's scary good at it), but I have disarmed people with guns.  Well, just two people.  But still...
