The whole "country mile" thing. I remember a friend who lived about an hour outside of the major city I'm closest to, he said after getting the kids ready, going to the store, shopping, getting everything and the kids back into the car and driving back home it was a three hour endeavor. I'm good on that. I live in a suburban area now and am less than 5 minutes from the freeway and about 15 minutes from a big city. I love it - very convenient.
I'm an hour from a small city (about 55 000 people) and three hours from a major city (1.6 million). I'm comfortable with both.
