My problem is that these guys ought to be beating down racist cops instead of dickweed journalists. Again, I don't advocate violence in any scenario. But I don't trust Antifa to take out the Gestapo were the Gestapo actually roaming the streets (and, in a way, they are). They aren't anti-fascists. They're anti-"the PR department of fascism." And when push comes to shove, that doesn't really count for shit.
I didn't say they were anarchist/Marxist, though. But since many of them are anarcho-marxists, my first point was (perhaps) a relevant one to them. And even if it isn't relevant to them, it's relevant to me.
Look man, I'm not shedding any tears because some racist douchebag got beat down. I'm just saying that there is a racist cop wandering around a town in Mississippi, doing whatever the fuck he likes, and he isn't worried in the slightest that he's gonna get beat down by Antifa. Why? Because (unless he starts a blog or something) Antifa is pretty much gonna leave this guy alone. To me, that damages Antifa's "cred" because the racist Mississippi cop is where the rubber hits the road as far as fascism goes. Dickweed journalists are just on the sidelines cheering.
