Every study/report I've ever read comes to the same conclusion: immigrants and refugees are a net benefit to the economy. Why be in opposition to accepting them?

And no. Illegal immigration amd mass immigration has NEGATIVE effects on economies. This is well documented. If your point is that legal, measured immigration has positive effects. Okay? Im not against legal immigration.

You claimed that other countries were being more prickish than the USA. The USA is running concentration camps. How are other western liberal democracies being worse? That was my question.

You are needlessly splitting hairs. Immigration (which ultimately includes refugees) is not only a good thing economically, it is a necessary thing.
