They won't listen.
They banned 50 caliber guns in California despite the fact that one had NEVER been used illegally.
They just want to get rid of all guns.
They will - through incrementalism.
I plan on being dead for years before it happens.

First they don't trust you with guns.
Once they get rid of those - it will be easier to deal with pesky things like free thought and dissent.
