That being said, a god that oversees 93 billion light-years of space stuff caring about a human and his refrigeration business? Such a bizarre idea. I can't understand it. The ego it requires to think we - and our social constructs - are so important... eludes me.
what if those 93 billion light years of time and space are to be over seen one day in eternity future by souls who were set on this proving grounds to see if they stay on task and can be trusted to use what they are given for the glory of God?
Ever train an apprentice? to do your job? or part of your job? what about a son? even rebuild an old car or something with a son or as a son? why in the world would a man in charge of so much so many other things take the time to rebuild a 1967 mustang from the ground up with his son? is it for his benefit? or the boy's?
We are promised eternal life with God. do you think it is to be spent in heaven? what of the eternal nature of the universe? can't you see a possibility the 2 are eternal for a reason? And if we are to spend eternity in an eternal universe who gets the good jobs? who gets to captain their own starship? who gets the enterprise? who can be trusted with such a thing? oh wait Captain Drich was given a refrig company and a small crew of people to care for and protect. did he do a good job when no one was looking?
