I'm not sure if he's telling the truth, especially after this interview where he talks about his papers at the University of Delaware, but at least it's a step up from a lot of famous people accused of sexual assault.
Given the facts of the case, that Reade has changed her story on multiple occasions (from there being nothing doing, to something vaguely weird but nothing sexual, to sexual harrassment, to sexual assault); the fact that she's radicly changed her public persona since airing the allegations, including hiding her previous strong support for Biden; the fact that the women who she supposedly talked to about the incident have changed their stories in line with her changes and finally the fact that she's admitted that the report she alleges she made to the Senate watchdog detailing the assault will not detail the assault (if the report was even made) makes me strongly convinced, absent other evidence, that Ms Reade is lying for personal and political gain.
There are too many points coming out currently to ignore the likelihood that this is a malicious false accusation.
