RE: US police brutality item

In the end, the brutality that the police have largely aimed at disadvantaged communities and people can only be practice. They know they can get away with it. There's no significant difference between how the police view the rest of us and how they view those communities and those people, beyond that.
We shouldn't be surprised to find that their brutality expands it's horizons, nor should we be surprised when, as they expand those horizons, there is little to no outcry. We've already been conditioned to silence, it's just a matter of spreading out that blanket of hate and apathy.
They'll get to us, in earnest, soon enough - but when that victim ideology finds itself to be true..it will be too late, and it will be the proponents of it who...then... cheer it on.
