Every single news report is saying the protestors were using a private street and may have broken a gate to access it.  They were bypassing blockades that were set up on public streets to block access to the mayor’s house, which was where they wanted to protest.

I don't think the couple in question are the security team for the neighborhood or for the mayor.

As for knocking down the blockades you mention, that's a law enforcement matter.

Nothing will happen to them.  They are uber-wealthy attorneys so they get a pass.
