I don't think the couple in question are the security team for the neighborhood or for the mayor.

As for knocking down the blockades you mention, that's a law enforcement matter.

Nothing will happen to them.  They are uber-wealthy attorneys so they get a pass.


What the homeowners did was stupid. If they were that fearful, they should have stayed inside and locked the doors.

No one’s saying the protestors knocked down the blockades. Reports are a little contradictory, but they MAY have broken a locked gate to get access to private property as a way of getting around the barriers.

I agree that the McCloskey’s are unlikely to be charged with anything. Not because they are wealthy lawyers, but because they don’t appear (at this point) to have broken any laws.
