Imo both parties/factions have deserved each other, to some degree.

‘Degree’ is what matters. The way Israel responds to Palestinian ‘attacks’ is like me firebombing your house because you shortchanged me at the market.

If it was just kids throwing rocks, the issue of "whose fault is it" would have been settled: "Israel responds to rocks with bullets". But its not.


As you already said: The crux is that each faction does not acknowledge the rightfulness of the claim of the other faction on Palestine.
