I still fail to see why anyone needs that kind of weapon unless they are serving in the military. I get that people want one. At one point I dreamed of having a WW2 Corsair as a teen. I knew I would never have the money to buy one, but even if I did, I damned sure wouldn't need a fully armed one with real ammo. I figure if you cant hit your target with a shotgun, or hunting rifle, or 6 bullet revolver, odds are certainly sure that you have no fucking business with that kind of power.
Nobody needs that kind of weapon, or drum magazines or high capacity banana clips. If one wants to have fun shooting at people paintball isn't deadly. Hurts like hell, but not deadly.
Port Arthur had one massacre and Australia pulled it's head out of its ass, and put their foot down. Tons of citizens put public safety above their own personal desires and turned in their weapons. New Zealand had that Mosque massacre, and they did the same thing. Now guns are still sold in both countries, that hasn't stopped. But what they don't have that America unfortunately still has, is an unhealthy worship of firearms.
Gun owners without criminal records here, on the far right, are willing to sacrifice public safety for their own personal self entitlement born out of fear.
Oh, and where is it that I can get one of those guns they hand out like candy? Maybe I can save a few bucks.
