Is that so ? How do you explain children's tendency to believe and give purpose to all natural phenomena around them? Usually children aren't mature enough to imagine concepts.

People are entirely too easily manipulated by religious concepts. History shows this, especially lately where we can show new religions being created by man and people following those religions as though it contains the truth.

And what makes you think you're immune to manipulation ? Why can't one consider the agnostic position as some erroneous cognitive bias and mind games designed to fit the universe to your own subconscious desires ? - namely wanting to enjoy sinful activity without cognitive dissonance.
