Especially in those scenes where the lead-in to the gun fight is lengthy, and you get to listen to the guns getting the first round chambered two or three times apiece.

It's akin to a small-bore motorcycle chase where the bike has at least forty-seven gears, because that's how many times it gets up-shifted in the scene.
