The ups and down are a healthy cycle. It's the fed intervention which is distorting financials and socials to new highs and lows which is very dangerous.
The Fed themselves couldn't care less if America collapses. They are the head of the corporatocracy. (or should I say cleptocracy?)
All we have to do is ask ourselves what has changed from the good old fashioned capitalist America.
Lots has changed. Free markets do not exist thanks to the Fed. Capitalism cannot function properly without free markets.
The Wall Street Crash changed it. That was the last time the US had a capitalist economy (though over the last forty years the country's been creeping jerkily towards it again, every time with disasterous results)
