Heck, here I was thinking that their labour hiring practices were simply bad enough.
As for 'Q'? Never liked the character or the concept.
Old Star Trek handled its 'YARPies' (Yet Another Ridiculously Power full being) generally much better.
Q just came across to me as just a poor writer's excuse to simply make up whatever sheet they wanted. Bugger the setting, characters or plots in general.
