Alright, let me try it from a different angle.
Lets say that there isn't a single man anywhere in the world who is low enough to dress up to gain access to victims. That noone anywhere in the world would dream of tarnishing the good name of transgender people by pretending they are one to gain access to victims. Lets pretend that probability is 0%, noone would ever do that in the history of the world. Ever.
Fine. That doesn't matter. That fears still there for alot of people. You're not going to talk it away. They want to know what prevents that.
They won't say yes to a transgender bathroom until it happens.
Alright, what do you offer them in terms of a contingency? What do you give them to make them feel safe enough to say "yes"?
Thats the question I've been asking, thats the question the other guy has been shamelessly avoiding.

I'm certain there ARE transgender sexual predators. But so what? There are straight cisgender predators too. I don't feel beholden to address people's elevated "fears" concerning transgendered sexual predators. Explain to me how that isn't prejudice?

Dude. We aren't even on the same wavelength. Let's assume that 10% of the population are depraved straight men willing to "dress up" to "gain access to victims." Okay then. Whereas before these individuals had access to school gyms, the bar (except for the ladies room), their office, the ally way, their home... now they have (in addition to that) access to the ladies room.
What does that grant them? Is rape THAT much easier when you are posing as a lady in the ladies room? Many rapists prefer to drug their victims right there in the bar and take them home... no ladies room required.
How does access to the ladies room make rape easier? It doesn't. How much sexual assault is committed by men posing as women in the ladies room compared to men posing as men in the workplace? Get your priorities straight.
