Both Norway and Sweden is worse off than Denmark to begin with. Because Sociology is such a focus issue there that they neglect work market. Meaning suicide is higher there. Where as Denmark having focus on work market and work encouragement, and not trying to turn their country into a doctor state, has less suicide. So the real winner is Denmark. Thats called Social Democracy done right

Because the US does not care about mental health.

Because the US thinks that Joe Bloggs can just die in a gutter unless they have stupid amounts of money.

Actually the problem is you people in general. You vote on centralized voting system that is easy to corrupt and promise stuff that never happens. You have one guy who promises everything on an extreme left or right platform. And if it goes wrong, they will just blame it on racism or anti racism "Whatever profits mostly in the media over there"

If you had more parties such as "Labour party (Social democracy)" and actually vote for what you ideologically support, and have a guy you support aswell. Then this wouldnt be a problem. So the problem is Democrats and Republicans is the only two choices you have to pick from.

So its not those hillbillies in the south or the degenerate clowns in the north. Its the political system in USA that is bad.
