It doesn’t matter whether a slaver treats his slaves well. They’re still slaves.

As for the other, I’ve had my wages garnished beyond my ability to pay for food or rent. It sucks, but at least I wasn’t someone else’s legal property. Had to move in with family and get my finances situated. Pretty glad that my children weren’t auctioned off to satisfy my debt.
