Oddly enough, we don't think any of the three groups were mighty when they laid down their ghost stories.  They were marginalized, so it's more like telling aspirational tales about their future or desired might, premised on their newly empowered gods.

At any rate, is might making right something that you think is true, something that you think gods think is true...?

I genuinely believe in the "might makes right" axiom. I would consider myself a very strong person, and I believe my strength entitles me to be righteously indignant towards whatever challenges me. I have earned the right to be right, so to speak.

So if someone comes along and beats you senseless and steals all your stuff, are they right?
