True - but you are far more likely to have a homicidal maniac try to stab you to death in your bedroom than oil on wet pavement...

You think you can back that up? Because 36,096 people died of vehicle crashes in 2019. And while I haven’t been able to find the stats for deaths related to burglary in 2019, all evidence I’ve been able to find tells me the number of yearly deaths from that scenario are in the low triple digits.
