Very good point. Guns are single-purpose tools - you really can’t do much with them except shoot things.
My car is a tool. My forge is a tool. But I can’t see driving my forge to the market, or using my car to heat and shape metal.

This reminds me of this scene from Taxi Driver. Apparently, you can hammer nails with a 38 all day and it will still shoot bull's eyes.
That said, if IMDb's Goofs page for the film is any indication, Easy Andy makes a lot of errors in his sales pitch, misidentifying several of the guns, and overestimating how much firepower the Magnum 44 has (apparently, it cannot penetrate an engine block at 100 yards), so I wouldn't be surprised if that thing about the 38 hammering nails is just more bullshit. Given that and how hard he tries to throw in a shitton of drugs after selling the guns (not to mention his actor Steven Prince's background), I'm inclined to believe he's more a drug dealer who just happened to need to unload some guns than an arms dealer who didn't know his merchandise.
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.
