Seems to me, there are an awful lot (1000's) of pedophile priests that are still considered part of the Catholic Church, who are even protected by the Church.
How much more perverted than that are you thinking will get one to be no longer considered a Catholic?
The pedophile priests are sinners, mortally so, which means that if they die in that state, they will, per (traditional) Catholic teaching, burn in eternal Hell forever. At that point they would be excommunicated from the Church, which is the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ. While living, they would still be able to freely receive the Sacraments, unless they are guilty of heresy, schism, assisting or performing an abortion, physically attacking the Roman Pontiff or some other stupid "offense", in which case they would need to have their excommunication lifted by the legitimate ecclesiastical authority before receiving absolution in the Sacraments, which are necessary for eternal life.
