I actually married someone I met online but this was all the way back in 1999. Didn't work out and she's turned into a drugged out drama queen.
I met a couple of other online friends in 2007-2009 and that was when my life was REALLY chaotic. I didn't wind up staying friends with either of them, but because of them (and other issues) I wound up moving to Houston where I was actually able to get my life together.
As of now, I actually have a local facebook atheist group that gets together from time to time. Haven't done a lot with them lately, though; kids keep me busy.
