I believe you got the wrong guy :-) My attitude is very ecumenical towards other faith traditions.
Now if some people want to promote the notion that the only valid perspective on the human experience is from that of citizens living in a post-Christian Western democracy, they are free to do so. To me that sounds very narrow-minded.
I don’t know what ecumenical means, so let me look it up.
merriam-webster says:
1a. of, relating to, or representing the whole of a body of churches
1b. promoting or tending toward worldwide Christian unity or cooperation
2. worldwide or general in extent, influence, or application
I’m not sure what that means.
Are you saying that you think that the jewish god is real or not real or you haven’t decided yet?
Do you believe that there was really a Jesus that was the son of the jewish god and he was born and did some of the magic tricks as described in the Bible?
