Well, maybe it could have stayed closed since Nishant is mostly making rape apologies for pedophile priests.
The big difference is that teachers in secular schools get persecuted while priests remain unpunished and protected by the Catholic Church. They are left to investigate internally in the Church which amounts to nothing (they are above the law), and the only reason some of them get persecuted is because of loud voices like us.
The church is even lobbying for laws to protect pedophile priests wasting millions of dollars to which you participate.

Nothing but Religious Teachers, i.e. Teachers of Religion. So the analogy is exact. And the stats show that in the same way that Secular Teachers are Teachers of Math, Science etc. and obviously, there is nothing in Math, Science etc that causes them to abuse, neither is there likewise in Christianity or Religion. Let's look at the stats:

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
