Done a bit of research into how Africa could have gone from a "missionary's graveyard" to the religion of hundreds of millions of people. It's not because God took time out of His busy schedule to flex His miracle powers for them. It's because of several factors that can easily be down to Man's Work.

For instance:
* Missionaries actually coming from Africa and not from other countries actively trying to exploit them. To this day, most of the successful evangelism in Africa comes directly from indigenous missionaries.
* Taking advantage of high birth rates. Religious parents tend to pass their religion down to their kids, and, well, just look at this map of countries by fertility rate.
