You've already said you think loneliness is probably "incurable". That doesn't comport with my experience, though I don't seem to be repellent to others. And I think if we teach our children to accept others no matter what they look like, I think that goes directly to addressing loneliness. Additionally, we already have experience doing that here in America, in terms of changing views on racial relations breaking down walls between blacks and whites, meaning that blacks aren't nearly so ostracized as they were, say, 80 years ago.

Some I thought were banal, some we're already doing, some sound really good, and one -- clamping down on hate speech using the force of government -- I don't think will work, as censorship typically doesn't eliminate but rather drives underground the censored content.
