-ish. Their way is for the government not to do things. Letting them do want they want or shutting the government down achieves that goal, either way. People want it to be a rational negotiation between sober actors, but it's not.

For them this is just good politics. They think hurting the country will hurt biden. They're probably right. I grant that it will probably hurt them just as much if not more, but I refer you back to what Their Way actually is. I don't think they care whether or not their buddies get tossed out on their ass as long as they can hurt americans in the process. The only people they hate more than the dems are each other, apparently.
