Perhaps there is no escaping having a philosophy and the choice is btwn good philosophy and bad philosophy.

Good way to say "It's required!"

Doesn't work with me.

I wouldn't say "required," because it's not as if the government or someone forces you.

It is inevitable, however. You have beliefs concerning philosophical issues.
