Death Claims Another

Local news story...police respond to a home where they found a man and a woman dead. They announced that there was no threat to others in the area, which is code for - it was a murder/suicide. The woman was 24 years old. Comments indicate that some people aren't surprised...so why didn't anyone step in before it went this far?
