This is a silly argument. He was literally trying to get millions of vote thrown out so that he could stay in office. That is, by definition, anti-democratic. As for whether or not he knew he wouldn't, do you have any evidence for this claim, or is this a simple rationalization for your thoughtless views?
As an aside, would you please learn some goddamned punctuation? Your run-on sentence only impedes communication.
It's sort of like the arguments OnlineBiker used to make (I haven't seen him for a couple months), seemingly arguing that because (for instance) Trump's attempt at overturning the results of the 2020 election ultimately failed, that he should be off the hook for trying to make it happen.
