I love how you blame people for their own death via pestilence without even knowing a thing about bible history. If you did, you'd know that those "brilliant Europeans" couldn't read the bible unless they were privileged and wealthy enough to be taught how to read in their own language, much less Latin.

And I am so sure that those people could have benefited from reading all those wonderful passages in Deuteronomy. Did I mention that I became an atheist by reading the bible, and was most repulsed by Deuteronomy? Maybe if they had been allowed to read it sooner, we wouldn't be plagued by Christianity today.
