Ivan Denisovich:
Of course D. Trump like people are simply pretending to be unhappy with Israel. He isn’t even pretending to do so by the way. He wants to build a Riviera in the Gaza strip and is refusing to give a visa to Mahmoud Abbas who wants to come to the U.N. to deliver his speech. Everything is crystal clear for some of our rulers. But let me tell you this: My country is facing its biggest drought in recorded history. Many of our damns are running low on water. And our rulers are still destroying forests to extract some low quality coal or other mostly worthless minerals. Our rulers (most of them) are really stupid people who take pride in their stupidity (Because that’s what trendy in our consumerist social-media age).
Yet the real people are very reactive. See Greta Thunberg + other activists are leaving the port of Barcelona today with some 70 ships with the intention of delivering aid to the Gazans. Some other ships from Italy will join them as they move toward Gaza:

- So D. Trump is not going to build a Riviera in Gaza. In fact, nothing is going to happen in Palestine. It’s like they are trying to numb us completely on the fate of Palestinians and make us react to it like we react to the endless civil wars and famines that are happening in sub-Saharan Africa. And I don’t think this is going to work either
Thumbs up to that. That’s because I am powerless and I don’t really know what’s happening there. I don’t really understand Zionism. And I don’t like the idea of being called a racist of an anti-Semitic person.
Yet all of this is unacceptable. This is not a drought or a hurricane. We even have doctors ready to sacrifice their own live and are willing to work there while eating one meal a day. Yet they cannot even stay there and help these people.
I’ve just watched a documentary on DW about a family who fled Syria in 2015 and obtained the right to remain in Sweden and going back to Syria to visit their old neighborhood. Their workplace, the places where they had their memories, their houses, their hospitals, their schools all of it is gone. Yet they are happy that at least Bashar Al-Assad is gone.
These are all real people with real memories. The only thing I can say is that Netanyahu is not that different from Bashar AL-Assad in the way he is treating these populations. And I firmly believe that there must be better ways of doing things (for all of us).
- This must be what they are telling themselves. And I cannot be “all in” in protecting the Arabs. If we go back in time, they attempted several times to completely eradicate the state of Israel. When they failed, they turned to acts of terrorism to try to destabilize the state of Israel. And this Israeli government is the most right-wing Israeli government ever.
As I said, I only care about the people caught in the cross fire (Both Israelis and Arabs)
And Israelis seem to be serious about this (having a state that is their own state)

- I don’t agree with that. That’s what Netanyahu and people like D. Trump want us to believe. And religion is not helping us either. Muslims are becoming increasingly anti-Semitic and some Jews are holding on to this “promised land” and “Chosen people” ideology.
If you look at it in a scientific manner. That area is just a small strip of land like any other. Just like the issue of climate change or plastic pollution, it’s something we can manage to solve if we ever decide to solve it.

Quote:“It's not complicated. It is simply a criminal regime that is committing genocide. Sure they use propaganda to mask it, just like any other murderous regime did but there is nothing complicated in it. It's just western hypocrisy that prevent this problem from being solved.
I have no fucking idea why you refuse to recognize israel culpability and try to water it down with bullshit about mishandling. No one forced them to commit genocide. State of israel chose to do it just like nazis did and exactly like nazis they lie about what they do (though they're far more sophisticated). It's simple as that - israel is murderous regime, pissing on UN directives and in process of committing genocide. israel opponents aren't angels but occupied have every right to fight occupation force.
Here is what Doctors Without Borders say on the subject:”
