- I think this is still true for some people even today. But the theory states that is you took some ordinary roman citizen and gave them access to modern education, they would end like Beavis and Butthead in the 1990’s series being unable to understand most of what you are trying to teach them.

If you are not willing to accept that another party can meet you on your own terms and in good faith, then you've given up before things have even begun. That's cowardly.
