Would it be a good thing if no Christian was allowed any position in government?

This country was built on a very fundamental proposition that all men/women are created equal

Actually, G-C that bit of propaganda was written into the Declaration of Independence. When they got around to writing the constitution ( you know - the law ) they kept slavery and made sure that only "men" were equal...some men, anyway.
