The circumstances in this case are irrelevant. Two human beings find themselves in a desperate situation, religious person/s offered inappropriate platitudes instead of practical help and advice. I'm sure if such help had been offered Freedom would have felt it worth mentioning. The point is not that hard to spot for anyone who sympathises in the human condition.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
