The Bible says so. Sarah in the passage I cited was too old to have children and she was not yet 100. It took a miracle from the Lord to make her bear a child.

Interesting ad hoc hypothesis. Got any proof to back it up or are you just engaging in wild unsupported speculation to dismiss any contrary evidence to your a priori assumption that there's a natural explanation for the explosive population growth? A good start would be to cite references to Egyptian history that slaves were provided abundant wives contrary to the way slaves are typically treated.
