Interesting ad hoc hypothesis. Got any proof to back it up or are you just engaging in wild unsupported speculation to dismiss any contrary evidence to your a priori assumption that there's a natural explanation for the explosive population growth? A good start would be to cite references to Egyptian history that slaves were provided abundant wives contrary to the way slaves are typically treated.
Are you contesting the fact that Slaves are bred like stock to animals to fill quotas in communities that work and trade in slaves? do you deny that the united states did this very thing when the importation of slaves was ban. Or Do you not understand where a nation like Egypt would have to source slaves if they did not simply breed the stock they currently maintained? Why go through the expense/effort when it would be so much easier to simply make the decree and provide the opportunity for slaves to "beget' more slaves?
