Before you worry too much about the rate of march you might try to give a little thought to the animals allegedly along for the walk. Sheep and goats graze with sheep preferring grass. This does not lead to a great deal of speed.
Of course, in Sinai
the last fucking thing you have to worry about is grass to begin with which means that the animals starve to death but, before they starve to death the lack of water would have done them in!
In fact, the only practical route across Sinai was the Egyptian's Way of Horus which had some re-supply stations scattered along its length so that travelers, (military or otherwise) would not drop dead in droves.
Ah, but the "Israelites" were warned to avoid the northern route because of the Philistines... which brings to us the spectacle of a god who can beat the tar out of Egypt but shits his pants at the thought of facing off with the Philistines....who weren't even there yet!
Really, G-C, you should be embarrassed to fall for such utter bullshit but I know you well enough by now to see that you will simply dismiss reality and cling to your fucking fairy tales even harder.
I do not put them going through the Sinai, Jerel al Lawz is in Arabia, an since you seem to think that I have no issue with water you need to reread the posts. My main point is Israel's survival and in that area water is of the greatest of needs.
@TheJackel, your volcanic field has not been active for nearly 10,000 years, that means Moses and the Israelites were about 6,500 years to late.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
