We are here discussing the topic which was lost in many posts
I'm an atheist and have from cover to cover read the bible, many atheists have done the same. Don't ask "why if you don't believe" we all have a different set of reasons.
The topic: Gods Most Appalling Act
Has been lost to accusations such as the one you've just gave.
I answered the why with ..... the topic of the thread.
Take it like Who read It by Stephen King and what was the most frightening part?
Anne Rice in Memnock the Devil or Tale of the Body Snatchers, or Ramses the Damned - which was 'sexy to you' which appalling?
If you are a believer than we hope you have read the bible, and might contribute what you think is the more appalling act it this book.
Welcome by the way, and please if you want to know some things make a thread for it or PM someone.

In the wrong place sorry folks, but Genesis didn't read like this!!
That too is appalling should one stretch the imagination.
