Try again. The views on this are pretty varied. I think you'd appreciate this article, as the author tends to agree with you. I like the article because it at least mentions other possibilities (though by no means all other possibilities). Notice that all sides go outside of the text to justify their conclusion? That's because scripture is silent..lol.

The sins of Sodom (plural you see, they were many and grevious) were idolatry, immorality, and in-hospitality. Do yourself a favor keyword search your favorite bible site for references to Sodom and it's sins (it's a recurring theme)
