Gf Says No Kids = Loneliness?

I told my girlfriend I don't want to have kids. She told me I'm gonna be lonely without a family as time goes on.

You may be,if you are a person who defines himself by his relationships. Having children to avoid loneliness is a pretty shallow and rather stupid reason.

There are also far worse things than being lonely. PLUS there is no need to be lonely if one is ambulatory and moderately sane.

I did not have children through choice. Do I regret that decision? Sometimes a bit,but overall, no. Am I lonely as a result? No.


No offence,but your girlfriend sounds either stupid, dishonest or perhaps just shallow. You may change your mind. I did not. But please,do not have even one child unless YOU want to.
