I think it makes much more sense for an intelligent* person to adopt a child.

Oddly, although we have a plethora of street kids in Australia, there has been a shortage of babies for adoption for many years. I suspect part of the reason may be abortion on demand.

I chose neither to breed nor adopt because I really don't like children all that much. I was also terrified I would be like my father.
