They lie and they distract from the current economy, the nearly $16 trillion of national debt, and the 8.3% national unemployment rate. Barack Obama promised to cut the national debt, but instead added another $5 trillion to it. Barack Obama promised to reduce the national unemployment rate to 6% by the end of his term. Our unemployment rate remains above 8%....and just because you cling to the propaganda like flies on shit doesn't mean that what you're saying is right.

You know what, though? If the Republicans cared that much about the economy, they would focus on that and shy away from attempting to legislate morality, which turns off huge numbers of people and only damages their more mainstream policies.

That's why I don't really fear the Republicans. As long as they are so consistent with their schizophrenic absurdity, they're going to scare away more fence sitters than they attract, and their time is running out. The rising generation in America is much more politically liberal than what came before it. American conservatism itself is not going anywhere, but the current, virulent form is very thankfully living on borrowed time.
I disagree. Americans are becoming more moderate and less liberal. A poll conducted in eight critical swing states show that many voters have left their party affiliations with the Democrat party leading in the amount of defections since the 2008 presidential elections.....

Republicans down - 79,000
Democrats down - 800,000
Independents up - 486,000

Independent voters are more concerned with jobs and the economy than they are with public policy issues. Those issues are more of a concern to the hard left and to the hard right which serve to galvanize the political bases. It's the left that on its way out.
