Atheists weren't responsible for the reign of terror. In fact the very thing he links only makes one reference to atheism as part of a very small anti-clerical campaign. Robespierre himself was opposed to Atheism, called it one of three evils in the world, executed Atheists during the reign of terror. Initiated the worship of a supreme being and had blood filled festivals to him. In fact both of the starters of the Atheist movement during the french revolution were promptly executed.
