Getting to know you all a little better

Doing the marriage thingy in December so at the moment I am busy co-ordinating flights (for the East Coasters of the family) sewing my dress for the event and generally running around like a meshugenah.

Why thankyou kind sir. It has turned into "My big fat Greek wedding" and neither of us can actually hail from that part of the planet (in recent times anyway- the gods only know what our ancestors got up to)

I am retired and spend most of my time being PA to both Zen and my son (Asperger's Syndrome). In fact my whole day revolves around trouble shooting and taking calls from them both.

Personal Assistant? That Zen is one lucky guy. You beat me to retirement. Are you exploring a second career with garden design? (I'm thinking about it.)

It was a case of HAVE TO TAKE EARLY RETIREMENT. Globally the jobs market is not good for "older" persons, let alone the young ones. Nephew has been out of work for three months and STILL looking.

I would advocate the "Garden design" vocational re-direction? = Go for it mate!

I would like to put our little patch on our local Garden shows to demonstrate what can be done with minimal funds and a very strict eye to environmental sensitivity. Not to mention that we get to eat the bloody stuff as well!!

As for the PA? HA! I come with benefits...so Zen says.... But yes I am the "go to" person if you want to know anything about our little bit of paradise.

Your assumptions are correct. VERY exclusive audience though as Zen does NOT like sharing his "toys" and to be honest neither do I.
