I live in Perth and I can tell you that youth groups aren't doing a very good job of converting. My youth group has turned into some sort of corporation now. I remember not too long ago the youth pastor took 20 mins of our time to display these nice little graphs he drew up of some stats, like how many new people had walked through the door and how many gave their lives to Christ.
It's funny how God is supposed to be so personal because he "called us by name" and "counted the hairs on our head" but yet we get treated like just another sheep. Jesus must have been influenced by those tax payers.. maybe he learnt a thing or two about accounting and business
