Again, no. The problem with what most of you understand to be prayer isn't prayer at all. Most of you simply bow your heads and make wishes or try and bargin with God. This is not prayer. We as Christians have been given to a model of Prayer by Christ Himself, and making wishes is not apart of that process.
That said, know it is not a sin to make a wish. Also know God is not obligated to hear wishes either.
God answers prayer, but understand formally making wishes is not praying.
That being the case, what's with all the praying for the sick that we get so often, most recently here on this very board? What's that all about?
